Inspired by autumn and the back-to-school season, InText recently took part in educational activities. Today’s students are our future employees, so we decided to start preparing them in high school!

InText COO Kirill Fedotov gave a presentation to students of the IT STEP School in Dnipro. He talked about artificial intelligence in linguistics, neural machine translation, and the importance of learning foreign languages. This presentation will bring us more localization industry talents in the future for sure.

Also, our Head of Project Management Anna Kraineva gave two online lectures to Alfred Nobel University graduate students of the English Philology and Translation Department. Anna introduced principles of the localization industry and gave an overview of Theory of the Translation Company by Renato Beninatto and Tucker Johnson. At the end of each lecture, Anna had a lot of questions, as the topic sparked students’ interest. A big thank you to head of the Alfred Nobel University English Philology and Translation Department Nataliia Zinukova, InText’s HR Manager Alexandra Khorsun, and all the students!

We hope the knowledge we’ve shared with these students will bring even more specialists into the localization industry in the future. Also, teaching is a good way to keep learning. Sharing experience is good for both students and mentors, and InText intends to keep doing it.

If you’re looking for ways to grow professionally, take a look at hundreds of useful talks from UTICamp on its YouTube channel. UTICamp is a unique open-air localization industry event organized by InText every summer.
